Studi Kasus Manfaat Penggunaan LVD di komplek Industri Kelapa Sawit Sinarmas

Dalam studi kasus ini kami maksudkan adalah perencanaan dan analisa ekonomi dan lingkungan pelaksanaan program hemat energi dan peduli lingkungan di lokasi industri pengolahan minyak sawit sinarmas. Betapa banyak manfaat yang diperoleh dari program ini singkatnya hanya dengan mengganti 59 titik lampu konvensional HPIT 250Watt dengan lampu LVD induction lamp maka nilai ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah penghematan daya mencapai 75% serta hemat biaya penggantian dan perawatan selama 45 kali penambahan investasi dapat dikembalikan dalam waktu tidak mencapai 1 tahun. Bagi lingkungan akan membantu emisi CO2 dari penghematan listrik sebanyak 29,9 ton dalam setahun atau setara dengan menghidupkan pohon-pohon besar sebanyak 1.497 pohon. Lampu PAR Hemat Energi

Pada umumnya lampu sorot didominasi oleh kelompok lampu jenis halogen untuk keperluan architectural dan landscape lighting system. Lampu jenis ini boros energi karena masih tergolong ke dalam kelompok incandescent lamp atau pijar. Incandescent lamp hanya dapat mengkonversi energi 5% menjadi cahaya dari konsumsi input energi.
Sekarang sudah ada terobosan baru dari jenis lampu sorot PAR 38. Jenis lampu PAR yang sebelumnya berdaya 100-120 Watt bisa digantikan dengan lampu PAR 38 berdaya 20 Watt saja. Lampu ini jauh lebih hemat karena konversi energi jauh lebih effisien, yaitu 80% energi intake menjadi cahaya. Pemakaian lampu sorot ini tentu saja akan sangat bermanfaat untuk memangkas biaya operational sistem pencahayaan. Khususnya untuk para pengelola gedung, taman dan kawasan komersial. Jenis PAR ini adalah hasil rekayasa twisted compact fluorescent yang diberi efek flood dalam sistem optik bola lampunya. Produk ini tergolong baru dan belum banyak di pasaran, hargaynya berkisar antara 80.000- 90.000 an. Keunggulan lampu ini disamping hemat energi juga memiliki lifetime yang jauh lebih panjang, sekitar 3 kali lampu jenis halogen.

Pada lampu induksi Elektroda yaitu anoda dan katoda dihilangkan. Pengganti untuk menggerakan elektron digunakan medan magnet yang dihasilkan dari lilitan yang diinduksilistrik. Kalau listrik tidak mengaliri lilitan maka tidak ada induksi dan tidak ada medan magnet maka lampu tidak menyala.Tetapi apabila listrik mengalirinya lampu secara serta merta dengan instan menyala. Itulah prinsipnya yang dipakai pada lampu induksi. Itulah makanya jenis lampu ini disebut lampu electrode-less, atau lampu induksi.
